We thought that CBD + Melatonin was the end all be all of blissed out, calgon-take-me-away CBD gummies.
But Nama was all, “hold my beer”, because they just entered the chat with a CBD + Melatonin + CBN gummy! 🤯
Before we dive in to this revelatory gummy, let’s just say, Nama is the real deal. They are creators of CBD products with transparency and quality at the forefront. They are third party lab tested and the hemp is USA grown. We also love that they are vegan, non-GMO and made with real fruit. Real fruit is such a rarity in gummies!
Nama Sleep is the Goldilocks just right of all the things. We are in awe of its perfection. Like it was chiseled from marble into the sculpture of perfectly proportioned sleep ideals.
One gummy contains:
25 mg CBD (Hemp Extract)
5 mg CBN
We find that 3 milligrams of melatonin is the right amount for us, when taking a melatonin gummy on its own. 1.5 mg is a little too light, 5 is waaaay too much. That’s a one way ticket to Sleep Hangoverville. (Yes, that’s a real place. IYKYK)
And 25 mg of CBD is a generous amount of cannabidiol relaxation to help ease your body into slumber. Similar CBD + Melatonin gummies typically include only 20 mg of CBD.
But again, that’s not all! Because welcome to Cannabiniol (aka CBN).
CBN is reputed as being the most sedative of all the various cannabinoid molecules extracted from the hemp plant. We had previously tried CBN oil on its own, and found that it was wondrous as a sleep aid. We weren’t sure it would be that much more noticeable than just regular CBD, but lo and behold, it liquified our minds and bodies in short order (in the best way possible, and also, to be clear, metaphorically).
Here’s the funny thing, though. Despite CBN’s long-standing reputation as being a sleep-inducing cannabinoid, there isn’t much research into CBN for sleep! And the one study on it was done in the 1970s, and that study indicated that CBN, in and of itself, didn’t make people sleepy. 🤔
But, it’s important to note that, while this study gets trotted out often to “debunk” the idea the CBN is helpful for sleep, a) it was done 46 years ago and b) the study only had 5 participants. We think it’s high time someone science-y revisited the question of CBN for sleep.
Because in our experience, CBN is definitely effective. We’ve tried a lot of sleep gummies, and a lot of CBD gummies, and for us, at least, there’s a real, unmistakeable quality to CBN-enhanced sleep, above and beyond what CBD alone can do.

These are a Wild Strawberry flavor that is pleasant and tasty enough. Nothing super original or unique. Pretty much strawberry by numbers, but because these contain real fruit (yay!), these are an authentic, juicy real deal strawberry. Not treacly, artificial candy strawberry.
These might be our new favorite sleep gummy. We know, we know. We have a lot of sleep gummies we love, and often declare we like each gummy better than the last. What can we say? Gummy creators continue to raise the bar and impress us.
But there’s something about this trio in particular that just checks all the boxes for us. We implore you to try it and see for yourself. That’s how strongly we believe in this one.
